making his way home.
That meant it was time for all of us here at home.
Lottie and I ran errands all day;
the grocery store(s),
where we got food for SEVEN, picked out flowers for the table,
grabbed Valentine's Day treats, and we even went to the mall.
Somehow, we always find our way to the mall.
We grabbed lunch together, and we noticed flurries out the window.
It's freezing here!
I texted Ollie to make sure he had his coat with his carry-on stuff.
He left a hot 93-degree Brazil to a very chilly 24-degree North Carolina.
Lod and I ate hot tomato soup and looked at pictures
of her when Ollie left in Feb 2023.
She was just a little girl.
Ollie will be shocked to find Lottie is now a lovely woman.
We went home and made one more sweep of Ollie's room,
making sure everything was in order, the house vacuumed,
flowers arranged, towels laid out for the girls on their beds,
and I made Ollie's favorite 7-layer bars.
The boys washed off the porch and did stuff in the shed.
I don't know what kind of stuff, but I heard it was productive.
It's GO TIME!
