This evening, Christian, Jane, Lottie, and I met up with the
full-time missionaries and attended the temple with our new friend, Denise.
Denise was just recently baptized and has become a sweet new friend.
It was lovely, and she was visibly moved throughout her visit.
All I could think about was how much God loves His children and
how deeply He cares for us. The temple serves as a strong
and a beautiful reminder of His everlasting love.
Christian took all of us out to dinner, and then we went home
and sat around the living room next to a cozy fire
watching Angus chase Kitty around the house
which I actually hate for obvious reasons.
But eventually, he got bored, and she
rested peacefully under the Christmas tree.
Now I understand why cats are such Hygge animals.
Almost everything they do exudes comfort and peace,
and can they manage to relax in the most magical ways.
We noticed a truck driving up our driveway to the gate,
and then it stopped and backed down the driveway again.
It was unusual, but since it's Christmas, we figured nothing of it since
we've had Christmas deliveries most of the month.
In the morning, I found a package I had ordered from Amazon
thrown into the woods, and about 15 luminaries had been run over.
I was so mad.
I have a giant YELLOW Tupperware at the bottom of my driveway
with a sign that says "PACKAGES HERE" so no one has
to drive up my driveway.
HELLLOOOOOOO!!
But I know God loves that guy, too.
