Fridays are my favorite days of the week. In the morning,
after I work out, I mow the lawn, and it's so enjoyable.
I didn't know mowing the lawn could be so relaxing and satisfying.
Christian strongly suggests that I cut at a 4, and I say,
"Ya, ok, buddy, I'll mow at a 4."
then mow at a solid 3.7 (and 3.5 around the trees).
I understand that lawn care involves art and science, considering
hydration and root health, and all that jazz,
but I just want to see my handiwork when I turn around from the mower's seat.
When the grass is at a height of 4,
I can't appreciate the precision of my mowing lines.
Later in the evening, when our weekend officially began, and Gigs and Lottie
were upstairs starting movies with drinks and treats, Christian
and I caught baby cow Indy, put him in the squeeze chute,
and Christian castrated him. Poor fella.
Tomorrow is phase three of our AI service plan,
It's going to be a busy day for all of us.
Our family is participating in a service project at a local park,
and Gigs is starting a new job!
On top of his mowing service and his job at the local golf course, he's
now working at a goat farm, milking mother goats.
Now maybe he can contribute towards the fantastic price of
$5.00 a gallon for gas! (Blahhhh)
Go, Gigs, Go!!
