I am preparing for Saturday's annual Back to School Feast (B2SF).
Yesterday, I received our BEAUTIFUL stars from Piggy and Dirt,
and today, I am expecting our framed theme.
Everything is ready, and I am finalizing the dinner menu.
This year's theme is PERFECT!
I love how God helped me, and Christian pick it for
our family. It's exactly what we need in our life.
He always does that!
I am so thankful we've had a family theme for each year
over these last 15 years!
My missionaries have told me they've used and shared several
themes while teaching and testifying to the people they serve.
I can't tell you how happy that makes me feel.
This is another reason WHY we do this.
Last week, I sent our new theme to Claire, Jane, and Ollie to preview,
and asked them to prepare something that I can read around
the table as if they were with us.
Christian and I were talking in bed the other night about our Nies,
traditions, and how fast it's all going.
We only have six more family themes until Lottie graduates and moves out.
It's a bittersweet realization.
Then, hopefully, we get invited to the Nies Back to School Feast
dinners with their own little families!
Oh, the JOY!
