Today we woke up early, dropped
Gigs off at school as he embarked
the white school bus headed to Raleigh for the next three days
at the State FFA Convention!
Then the girls, Christian, and I drove to Topsail Beach to spend
the day under the sun (or, in my case, under the sun shade).
It was one of the most beautiful beach days ever!
Occasionally huge dark billowy clouds would roll in and cover the
sky, rain for a few minutes, clear up,
and then the sun would pop back out.
The ocean is so mysterious and beautiful, and I love that
we've made it a tradition since moving to North Carolina
to spend my birthday at the beach!
