Tonight Christian and I spent the evening in the temple, and
it was one of the most spiritual experiences I've ever had with him.
I felt so much peace.
Quiet peace.
Secure peace.
Solid peace.
Sure peace.
Calming peace.
This world!
I've never felt so worried and threatened as a woman and mother,
in my life.
Sometimes it's just so SO overwhelming, and I can't keep up.
I'm trying to stay afloat, and the world tries to
pull me into despair and discouragement.
Tonight with Christian, I felt peace.
We need peace to keep us planted and protected
from all the noise that occupies so much space around us.
Tonight I felt an abundance of peace.
Peace is something that I continue to work for;
it's something I need and ask God for daily.
Jesus said to us:
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the
world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid" (John 14:26–27).
I love the words from the song 'Peace in Christ'
from the youth theme song in 2018.
There is peace in Christ.
When we learn of Him.
Feel the love He felt for us
When He bore our sins.
Listen to His words.
Let them come alive.
If we know Him as He is,
There is peace in Christ.
There is peace in Christ.
When we walk with Him
Through the streets of Galilee
To Jerusalem.
Mend the broken hearts.
Dry the tear-filled eyes.
When we live the way He lived,
There is peace in Christ.
He gives us hope
When hope is gone.
He gives us strength
When we can't go on.
He gives us shelter
In the storms of life.
When there's no peace on earth,
There is peace in Christ.
When there's no peace on earth,
There is peace in Christ.
