This morning we toured the new burn center and hospital.
I am so excited about this beautiful facility!
It's going to be state-of-the-art! Top-notch!! Gorgeous!!! First-rate!!!!
It will be what the amazing burn doctors and staff deserve,
along with the patients and their families, too!!
It was such an incredible experience touring the burn floor again
(I was lucky to have had a tour previously)
but this time with my burn family; who were burn patients too,
the same ones who Christian and I hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro with,
and to hear their thoughts and observations about this gorgeous facility!
I was giddy thinking about Claire walking these halls as a tech
(nurse soon!!), especially since she will have the contrast working
in both old and new burn centers, including the
the unique perspective of being a patient's family member as well.
That being said, whether the AZBC has a new hospital or not,
the care, love, and compassion are the same, and nothing
could change that. They're just the best!!
They're my heroes and my family forever!
