I have been looking forward to this day for weeks!
Early this morning, my darling girl, Claire, flew into North Carolina
to be with our family and here for Oliver's farewell Sunday.
I am so so SO excited!
Ollie and I drove to pick her up, then stopped for brunch.
It was lovely catching up IN PERSON about her life (she has a boyfriend!!).
She came home and crashed into her old bed for most of the afternoon.
Her redeye flight, mixed with jetlag, was catching up to her.
While she slept, I worked on
catching up on my blog and watered my flowers and plants.
I bought some Hellebores a few weeks ago to
make a flower arrangement for the pulpit at church on Sunday.
I'm so happy right now!!
So is Lottie! Her buddy is home!
