Today I tackled painting the fireplace stucco.
I chose a bright white color reminiscent of the stucco fireplaces
often found in homes in New Mexico.
I wanted to bring a little ranch vibe to Stillestead.
I got home from Barre, slipped on my overalls, and got to work.
I had many helpers throughout the job, including Angus,
who got paint all over his beard and legs.
After, Lottie was a champ and took on the job of bathing him.
He wasn't very cooperative, though.
Later in the evening, the girls, Christian, and I served
in the temple and got Chick-Fil-A waffle fries and
a shake afterward. It's our tradition!
I fall into bed exhausted at night.
It feels so good!
