For Mother's Day...
Lottie made me a fox and raccoon made out of clay:
She designed them with large arms so I could rest my
glasses or lip balm in them.
It's so genius!
Jane and Christian made me dinner, which included Jane's delicious rolls,
and homemade Oreos (my favorite!!),
with occasional help from her brothers.
(I think everyone would agree that "help" might be a bit too strong.
Perhaps "watch" is better?).
The boys picked Peonies for me
from an abandoned house nearby, which I think was heroic.
No, come to think of it, Jane did that too.
But they did give me a warm hug
and pitched in on the cute new watering can gift.
Claire called, too! It was so lovely to talk to her without sharing
the phone with anyone else!
(She'll call again tomorrow on P-day to talk to everyone).
It was a wonderful day!
