Tonight we helped Oliver ask his date to the Prom in May.
It was all hands on deck family-style to make this happen.
Ollie and I went to Walmart and bought two fantastic shirts
with the 90's singer Selena on the front,
one for him and one for his date.
He wrapped it up in a box with pink roses and a clever poem:
Roses are red, violets are blue.
These ones are pink...can I go to Prom with you?
If the answer is yes, put on this shirt,
wear it tomorrow and be on alert!
You'll learn who it's from, when I wear the same one.
We'll be matchy/matchy, and have lots of fun!
Ollie, Jane, Gigs, and even Lottie joined in the doorbell ditching while
Christian and I drove the car in stealth mode ready to pick them up to flee.
(I think this will be a highlight in Lottie's life!
She had so much fun being sneaky!)
