We left the Nies in the care of each other and went out
of town for a couple days.
It was so nice being together reminiscing about our lives as
husband and wife.
(I've lived with Christian longer married than single).
We talked about our highs and lows and everything in between.
At our wedding luncheon after the ceremony, we held a private
family gathering, and my father-in-law, Russ hosted a toast.
I love the photo because it captures how I felt that day.
I'm looking at Christian with so much love and trust.
I was thinking; I'm yours and your mine, we're in this together
in the best of times, and the worst of times.
I've got you, and you've got me.
And that's the way it's been. Always.
Here's to many more photos of us smooching and hugging.
