What is more rewarding as a parent than seeing they're
child reading scriptures on their OWN?!
(And on a Saturday?!!?)
Lottie has taken scripture time very seriously.
Sometimes I'll come across little folded up papers in her pockets, backpack,
on her desk, and post-it notes stuck to her bathroom mirror
reminding her to read the scriptures.
She's made a Book of Mormon book and interprets what she's
reading into an- oftentimes very funny comic book.
I'm not a perfect parent and I fail a lot.
But if I can teach my children the value and importance
of personal scripture study then I think I'm
doing something a little bit right.
"...teach their children to pray, and to walk uprightly before the Lord."
