I'm still unpacking over here!
And, I admit it.
I LISTENED TO CHRISTMAS MUSIC TODAY!
Yes, I did.
I don't care.
Bring it on.
I will say, however, that I only listen to Jesus songs.
After December 1st Santa can come to town, but not before.
I did take a break to attend Lottie's parent-teacher conference
in her elementary school.
While I waited in the hallway I saw one of her displays on the wall.
The kids wrote answers to the question:
WHAT DO I WANT TO BE?
Lottie wrote:
"I want to be a good parent to my [bunnies]
when [they're] cold I give them my warmth.
When they need love I love them.
I want them to feel safe with me."
I loved that!
It made me cry.
(We don't even have bunnies!).
I love her beautiful tender motherly response!
This is every mother's wish for her children!
I hope Lottie feels that way in our home and with me.
I know she feels this way about her 4th-grade teacher, Mrs. C.
She is incredible and knows Lottie perfectly.
It's so comforting to send her to school each day knowing
there is a wonderful teacher at the helm.
