Today began the first day of Claire's six-week home
missionary training experience.
She got up at 6:00 a.m. (a half-hour earlier than suggested
so she could have a full hour of exercise) and got to work.
I have to admit I occasionally went upstairs to check on
her at her desk while she was zooming away with her new mission district.
SHE IS SO CUTE!
I found some amazing photos of Claire in 2005 after
one of the greatest nor'easter New Jersey had ever seen.
EVERYTHING was shut down, including Christian's
work for A WHOLE WEEK!
Which was so perfect since I had just given birth to Oliver
in our home a few days before the storm hit
and it couldn't have been better timing.
Christian stayed home and played with Jane and Claire while I rested.
He even braved the storm and snowshoed to
the nearest grocery store AND Blockbuster- you know, just for the essentials.
Those were some of the best days of my life
and I reflect on them with so much fondness and feeling.
These are some of the best days of my life, too.
You know, the Nies still yell goodnight and I love you
to each other each night before bed.
I'm holding on to them as tightly as I can and
for as long as I can!
