I don't know about you, but I feel like it's been summer since March when COVID hit, schools closed, and life changed.
Because of the quarantine, the Nies are home ALL THE TIME
And it feels like summer is neverending.

By mid-summer, it should be at least October.
And now I've been craving change, especially in the
form of pumpkins, leaves, smoky-smelling candles, etc.
After school today, I pulled out the summer flowers in the pots on my
front porch and replaced them with purple autumn vines and mums.
Deep down, I know that summer will linger until Halloween, but I need a change.
I also put yellow leaves in a large vase
on my dining room table and lit a fall candle.
We all like it, even if we don't want to admit we're ready for it.
