While on a recent trip to Emerald Isle with the Binghams,
I overheard Lottie's best friend Ada say to Lottie
while the two of them sat in their swimming suits in the tub after a full day at the beach:
"It must be weird having a mom who's burned and doesn't have a pinky."
" Ya," Said Lod, "but I don't know her any other way,
and you know she won't be like that forever."
"Ya, good thing, and she's still really nice,"
Ada chimed in followed by,
"I have freckles on my knees too!"
