One week in quarantine down and who knows how many more to go.
I don't know about you, but we are loving it-
except maybe Nicholas who came to me in tears because he was super bored.
I have NO patience for the "b" word. None.
So I suggested a few jobs he could do
then he disappeared and it
magically seemed to have cured his boredom.
It was a miracle.
Today we will officially pick up the Nies homeschool
packets from the school districts, which means next week
they will be busier with school work.
This week was kind of just a free week for our
family with optional online work.
Yay!
The weather was near 80 degrees and I dubbed it our Little Women day,
(except for the insistent sound of the boys on their motorcycles
going back and forth on our street).
I opened up the windows to let the spring air in and
we cooked, cleaned baseboards, swept out rugs, Lottie made a few books,
and the dining room table was covered with paints,
colored pencils, and markers.
I studied, prepared, and "immersed myself"
for the "unforgettable conference" in a few weeks.
I've asked Claire to paint Jesus for the
cover of Lottie's baptism program in April.
Lottie's baptism will be much different than we had planned.
Thanks to the Coronavirus
instead of friends and family attending her baptism at the church,
we are opting for a family only baptism (possibly in the lake!).
And we probably won't have a program anyway.

As you do, general conference next April will be not only memorable;

PS....It's officially Spring!
