We packed our bags, games, gear, food, and bedding into the RV
and began our fall tour up north.
We drove across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge admiring the ocean
and the darling little towns.
On every corner there were farm stands selling pumpkins
and gorgeous mums.
We made our way to Virginia Beach where we camped
for the night while the rain and wind beat down on the RV.
It was pretty cozy.
We woke up to rain and drove onward to Maryland where we stopped
and found a delicious breakfast joint and ordered lunch.
(Breakfast is good at anytime of the day).
Our next stop was the
United States Navel Academy in Maryland.
We walked around campus and watched the boats sail around the bay.
It was chilly, but a perfect fall afternoon.
We also speculated about which one of the kids we could
see attending school here. We all voted Claire.
(Besides she would look amazing her service uniform).
Then we ate CAFE RIO for dinner.
Yes, you heard me right. I said Cafe Rio.
We were beyond thrilled for this delicious and familiar food!
At approximately 8:55 p.m in the RV,
Lottie lost her 2nd tooth!
We ended our day a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
parking lot. Our plan (because we've successfully done this before)
is to stroll out of the RV in the morning and casually walk to 9:00 am service.
I love how I used words like successfully, and casually, and strolled.
We'll see how it goes.
