Happy 4th of JULY!
(Also, a very happy birthday to my father!).

We still need to nail down our plans for today,
but I see berry pancakes, a picnic at the lake,
and a firework show with friends in our future.
I am SO thankful for this beautiful country I call home.
I am grateful for the freedoms I enjoy
and soooo thankful for the men and women who fight
to make it all possible.
God indeed does bless the USA!

UPDATE on Claire in Samoa:
Claire's group finished the hut they were building for a family!
She looks tan with a few more freckles!
They are beginning to plan for their journey home on JULY 6th!
