We have officially been in Utah for one week,
and will be here one more as we stay to attend my
honorary doctorate honor on Thursday at UVU.
My family of seven (plus Angus, who counts as
another body since he is the size of a grown man)
are staying in my parent's two-bedroom home in Provo.
That means we have two blow up queen size mattresses in two separate rooms,
and throw kids on every available couch in the house.
It's pretty cozy!
Early this morning, I woke up and went to the bathroom
(as one does in the morning), and came back to find this:
I never did get my spot back.
Also, today my sister Lucy and I rode Oliver and Nicholas's
dirt bikes around a church parking lot in the neighborhood.
Someone called the police on us
because we both saw three police cars turning into the parking lot.
We both took off as fast as we could back to my mom's house
down the street and hid in the garage.
(1986)
We laughed so hard, thinking we had "ditched the cops."
We are so nerdy and old.

Teachings from RMN:
Sustaining the Prophets, October 2014
"If the Restoration did anything, it shattered the age-old myth
that God had stopped talking to His children.
Nothing could be further from the truth. A prophet has stood at the
head of God's Church in all dispensations, from Adam to the present day.
Prophets testify of Jesus Christ—of His divinity
and of His earthly mission and ministry."
