I have said it many times and will say it again,
but Provo, Utah, is the place to celebrate our country's birthday!
So much going on, so much patriotism, and so
many activities and community love.
It's amazing.
I have lived in Provo nearly all my life and have partaken of the
Provo 4th of July experience, and each year I am always amazed.
Last Saturday, our little family, plus Lucy's family (and my parents),
watched the fireworks from our backyard pool
(thanks to The Stadium of Fire!).
I passed out glow sticks, licorice, and flags while the kids swam
and waited for the sun to go down and the fireworks to start.
Fox Hill is where it's for the firework show.
Our house sits just above the stadium, which makes us
about eye-level to the twinkling show.
I bought a swan and pizza floatie for the pool, and sadly
they both deflated within
an hour after blow-up. That was disappointing.
I thank my lucky stars every single day for this home, this property, and my city.
Which also makes moving THAT much harder. Oh, man.
It takes so much faith- and not just from me, but every single one of us.
And we're doing it.
