Yesterday morning, while on my daily hike, I listened to a beautiful talk.
"The Master Healer" by Carole M. Stephens.
It was inspiring and uplifting and helped me gain some
much-needed perspective in my life right now.
I especially loved this part:
"You don't have to continue to carry the
burden of sorrow caused by sin--alone.
You don't have to carry the pain caused by the
unrighteous actions of others--alone.
You don't have to experience the painful realities of morality--alone.
The Savior pleads:
"Will ye not now return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted,
that I may heal you?... If ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life.
Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will
come...will I receive." 3 Nephi 9:13-14
He would do anything to take this from you; in fact, He already has."
I am grateful for my knowledge of Jesus Christ.
He is peace.
The world seems so confusing and disheveled, especially right now
with the political headache cankering our lives.
But I know that God is in charge.
I am teaching my children where to look for peace in the
midst of confusion.
And I can guarantee them that if they will look to Christ,
they will never ever be let down.
