Happy Birthday, Ollie!
Yesterday, for Ollie's birthday, I made vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and GrandMary let me borrow her
vintage clown candle holder that she had used in all of her
babies' birthday cakes over the past 40 years!
By far, Ollie's favorite gift was the remote-controlled snake.
He could care less about the new ball, the motorcycle guy, bubbles,
or his delicious cupcakes.
And, of course, as usual, we let balloon wishes into the air with
birthday messages written on them for Ollie.
In my apron (and Jane in her Indian princess costume), we let our
balloons fly into the mild January sky.
