I was 19 and Christian was 21 in our engagement photo:
On Sunday my family will turn EIGHTEEN, that is to say that Christian
and I will celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
I've always liked to call our anniversary our family's birthday
because December 16th is really when it all began.
I have planned a nice birthday dinner for our children
complete with a birthday cake and balloons.
This day is indeed a day to celebrate
our love, life, children, changing, healing, covenants, promises,
and of course God who makes all of it possible.
18 years. Wow.
